  • Chess help: Teach chess to younger kids and play games with them on Tuesday evenings.
  • Book reviewer: Teens review soon-to-be-published or newly published books.
  • Program assistant: Teens help out at a variety of programs.

Summer volunteer opportunities

We’re looking for volunteers who will be in grades 6-12 in September and can give at least six hours of their time to help with our summer reading program. Our teens staff the summer reading desk, assist with online submissions, read to children, and help with programs and activities.
